Police complete more than 400 reports

LEWISTOWN — The Mifflin County Regional Police Department completed 423 incident reports for the month of January 2026. Of those reports, Regional Officers investigated 16 incidents of theft/fraud, two assaults and 36 motor vehicle accidents.

Regional Officers issued 109 traffic citations, 11 non-traffic citations and 11 warnings. In addition, Regional Officers made six arrests for driving while under the influence during this time frame.

The Mifflin County Regional Police Department serves the citizens of Burnham Borough, Brown, Derry and Union townships.
