Calendar
The Sentinel offers nonprofit and other community organizations an opportunity to promote upcoming events for free in the community calendar for three days before the event. Events requiring reservations may be promoted for up to two weeks before the reservation deadline.
Events that require a purchase from a for-profit business, even if a donation is made to the organization, are not eligible for the calendar.
Please be brief and include only basic details. If possible, provide a phone number or email address to be published with contact information.

• Mifflin County Chapter PASR luncheon meeting — noon, Thursday, March 5, Birch Hill Event Center, 1100 N. Pine St., Burnham. Chris Ruble will entertain. Cost of the meal is $17.50. • Kishacoquillas High School Class of 1967 meal — 5 p.m., Logan’s Tavern, Reedsville. Classmates, family and friends are welcome.
• Milroy Lions Club spaghetti dinner — 4 to 7 p.m., White Memorial Church Fellowship Hall, Main Street, Milroy. Requested donation is $10 per person, children under 12 are no additional cost. All proceeds benefit Gary Walters.
• Free community meal — 5:30 p.m., Trinity United Church of Christ, corner of Oak Street and Central Avenue.
• Captain Jack and Mount Union Area High School dinner — 6 p.m. at Hoss’s Steak and Sea House, Lewistown.
Friday
• Coffee with friends — 9 a.m. to noon at Lack-Tuscarora EMS, 9320 Route 75 South, East Waterford.
• Fish Sandwich Friday — 3 to 5:30 p.m., Sacred Heart School cafeteria, Lewistown. Sandwich only: $5, sandwich w/mac and cheese $8.
• Lenten fish dinner — 4 to 7 p.m., St. Jude Catholic Church, 3918 William Penn Hwy., Mifflintown. Adults: $15, children 6 to 12: $6, 5 and under: free. Sponsored by St. Jude’s Knights of Columbus.
• Bingo — Doors open 5 p.m., Bingo at 6:30 p.m. Beale Township Fire Co., 2051 Cider Press Rd., Walnut. Kitchen will be open. For more information, call (717) 436-5377.

• Free community lunch — 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Lewistown Presbyterian Church, 17 E.Third St., Lewistown. Takeout begins at 12:15 p.m. as available. All are welcome to attend.
