Youth Art Day 2026 entry deadline Feb. 4

NEWPORT — The deadline for entries to the 2026 Perry County Council of the Arts Youth Art Day is Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026. Entries may include visual art (two-dimensional and three-dimensional), graphic design, video, comic art, poetry, essay, short story, and performance. Entry guidelines and digital entry forms are currently available online at https://www.perrycountyarts.org/youth-art-day/.

All entry forms and fees must be submitted by Wednesday, Feb. 4. In addition, visual art entries, and literary works must be physically delivered by Wednesday, Feb. 4 to PCCA Gallery located at One S. Second St., Newport, PA. Gallery Hours are: Wednesday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A $3 fee for each Youth Art Day entry applies. Public, private, cyber, and home school students residing in or attending school in Perry County are encouraged to participate. Works created at home are eligible. Entries may be submitted on behalf of students by both their teachers and parents.

Youth Art Day is an annual showcase of visual art, performance, and literary talent from students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The 2026 event will feature a large student art exhibition, literature readings, student performances, kids’ activities, artist demonstrations, and a 1 p.m. awards ceremony.

Youth Art Day 2026 will be held on Saturday, April 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Greenwood Middle/High School in Millerstown.
