Juniata County Commissioners approve various agenda items
MIFFLINTOWN — Juniata County Commissioners approved letters of engagement to have Boyer & Ritter CPA’s perform audit services for Juniata County covering the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2025 at their weekly meeting on Tuesday morning.
In addition to the county-wide audit, which costs $62,400, there are also costs for Department of Human Services audit supplement at $7,425 and additional major programs (if required) at $3,000 per program.
The commissioners approved the CDBG-IDIS checks, as submitted by the Juniata County Planning and Community Development Department, for CP Engineers in the amount of $1,376.96; Appraisal Review Specialist, LLC for $3,300; Mid Atlantic Storage Systems, Inc. for $123,056.44; and Jay Fulkroad & Sons, Inc. for $209,260.30.
The commissioners also approved payment of the Juniata County Hazardous Material checks in the amount of $2,100; Juniata County Commissioners pay back the county’s general fund; and a revision to the policy “Vacation” in the County Employee Handbook.
