Calendar
The Sentinel offers nonprofit and other community organizations an opportunity to promote upcoming events for free in the community calendar for three days before the event. Events requiring reservations may be promoted for up to two weeks before the reservation deadline.
Events that require a purchase from a for-profit business, even if a donation is made to the organization, are not eligible for the calendar.
Please be brief and include only basic details. If possible, provide a phone number or email address to be published with contact information.

• Fly-in, Drive-in, Walk-in breakfast — 8 to 10:30 a.m., EAA Club House, Mifflin County Airport Hanger 4. “World Famous Omelet” plus side dishes. Sponsored by Experimental Aircraft Association, Chapter 518.
•LHS Class of 1965 luncheon — 11 a.m., Sal-lee’s Dream, Strodes Mills. All classmates and guests are invited.
•Turkey supper — 4 to 6 p.m., Church Hill United Methodist Church, 199 Woodland Circle, Reedsville. Cost is by donation. Both eat-in and takeout are available.
•Coffee House — Ellen Chapel Church. The Nittany Wranglers Bluegrass Band at 6:30 p.m. Flip Side at 7:45 p.m. Everyone is invited. Coffee, iced tea and snacks are available. A freewill offering will be collected.
Sunday
•Free movie night — 6:30 p.m., Reedsville United Methodist Church, 82 E. Logan St., Reedsville. Movie will be “Eight Below.” Refreshments will be served. All are welcome.
Monday
• Bingo — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., McVeytown Senior Center.
• Job Club — 10 a.m. to noon, Mifflin County CareerLink, MCIDC Plaza Building 58. Attendees can search for jobs, tailor resumes, apply for jobs and learn how to get jobs.
•UPS retirees luncheon — noon, Hoss’s, Lewistown.
