Mechanicsburg man cited for defiant trespassing

LEWISTOWN — A 68-year-old Mechanicsburg man was cited for defiant trespassing after an incident at a residence on the 200 block of Valley Street in Lewistown at 11:13 p.m. on Nov. 30, according to release issued by the Lewistown Police Department on Friday, Officers were dispatched because they were told by a landlord that Ronald E. Willow Jr. was trespassing, the report said, and officers confirmed a previous notification. Officers stood by as Willow vacated the apartment, the report said, and Willow was cited for defiant trespassing. Officers returned at 1:35 a.m. on Dec. 1 for a complaint that Willow was outside yelling, the report said. Willow claimed someone stole a phone; however, the phone was being paid for by a relative inside the residence and officers advised those involved this was a civil issue, the report said.

Police seeking information about stolen jingle bell

LEWISTOWN — The Lewistown Police Department is seeking any information or surveillance video regarding the theft of a 3 to 4-foot-tall gold jingle ball that was allegedly stolen from the first block of Wayne Street in Lewistown around 8:43 a.m. on Dec. 1, according to a release issued on Friday. A resident reported that someone stole a gold jingle bell decoration that weighed about 20 pounds, the report said.

Lewistown woman faces assault charge

LEWISTOWN — Patricia Auker, 45, of Lewistown, was charged with simple assault-domestic violence related and lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown after a domestic dispute with a juvenile at 9:48 p.m. on Dec. 1, according to a release issued by the Lewistown Police Department on Friday. Officers responded to Feeder Avenue for a domestic dispute and learned Auker and a juvenile had an argument over Auker consuming alcohol, the report said, and Auker reportedly pushed then shoved the juvenile. The juvenile shoved Auker who shoved the juvenile a third time causing the juvenile to fall down, the report said, and Auker began to punch and slap the juvenile causing several lacerations and a bloody lip on the juvenile. Officers spoke with Auker who denied the allegations, stating it was self-defense and exhibiting signs of intoxication while interacting with officers, the report said

Area woman charged with disorderly conduct

LEWISTOWN — Patricia A. Hine, 46, address unknown, was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident outside the Puff-N-Snuff, located at 129 S. Main St., Lewistown, at 9:34 a.m. on Dec. 2, according to a release issued by the Lewistown Police Department on Friday. Officers received a phone call about a female outside the convenience store harassing customers, the report said, and had spoke with Hines several times about similar behavior near the river access in Lewistown. She was warned that continued behavior, such as yelling obscenities, could result in her being taken into custody and lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown, which is what happened, police said.

Officers attempt to identify suspect

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers are attempting to identify a white male who was observed taking candy, butane lighter fluid, gum and food items from the Nittany MinitMart, 40 E. Walnut St., Lewistown, without paying for them between 8:38 and 10:15 a.m. on Nov. 26, according to a release issued on Friday. Loss prevention for the store also had video of the same suspect taking items at 11 a.m. on Nov. 27.

Man arrested for warrant after snowball incident

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers responded to the 300 block of South Wayne Street for a report of juveniles breaking a glass window with a snowball at 4:52 p.m. on Dec. 3, according to a release issued on Friday. The incident was later determined to be from a juvenile ducking a snowball which went past its intended target breaking a window, the report said, and the subject who broke the window fled on foot. While speaking with an involved juvenile’s father, officers discovered that Robert T. Wilk, 39, of Lewistown, had a warrant for his arrest out of Wyoming County relating to a 2019 retail theft conviction, the report said. Wilk was taken into custody and lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown, pending extradition to Wyoming County, the report said.

Lewistown man charged with criminal mischief

LEWISTOWN — Tanner L. Mitchell, 20, of Lewistown, was charged with criminal mischief after admitting to Lewistown Police Department officers that he broke the vehicle window of an ex-girlfriend at 5:09 p.m. on Dec. 4, according to a release issued on Friday. Officers were originally speaking to the female over the phone regarding harassment by Mitchell, the report said. She reported that he was outside of her residence on the 200 block of Shaw Avenue in Lewistown and had broken the window, the report said, and officers located Mitchell nearby and he admitted breaking it due to an argument.
