McClure woman arrested for felony warrant

LEWISTOWN – Lewistown Police Department officers observed Maranda Brought, 51, of McClure, outside the Kish Apartments, located at 196 S. Main St., Lewistown, at 2:44 p.m. on Nov. 14, according to a release issued on Friday. Brought had a felony warrant for retail theft that was issued relating to an incident handled by the Lewistown Police Department on Oct. 24, 2025, the report said, and she was taken into custody and lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown.

Lewistown man facing charges of possession of marijuana

LEWISTOWN – Lewistown Police Department officers stopped a vehicle on the first block of Spanogle Avenue in Lewistown at 1:39 p.m. on Nov. 16 for an equipment violation, according to a release issued on Friday. The driver, identified as Aaron C. Rodriguez Sr., 34, of Lewistown, had a suspended driver license and officers detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, the report said. Rodriguez surrendered a glass marijuana smoking device and roach marijuana cigarettes to officers, the report said, and officers also located a container of marijuana, THC wax concentrate and other paraphernalia in the vehicle. Charges were filed against Rodriguez for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Oliver Township man lodged in jail on three active warrants

LEWISTOWN – Lewistown Police Department officers received a tip that two wanted subjects were staying in a garage behind a residence on the first block of Chestnut Street in Lewistown at 3:07 p.m. on Nov. 18, according to a release issued on Friday. Officers located a female and found out that the warrant was already served. Officers received permission to search the garage for Franklin G. Wilt Jr., 33, of Oliver Township, who had three active summary non-traffic and traffic warrants out of Mifflin County, the report said, and Wilt was found concealing himself in a loft in the garage and was taken into custody without incident. He was lodged in Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown on the warrants.

Lewistown woman arrested for two warrants

LEWISTOWN – Lewistown Police Department officers observed Autume Crawley, 25, of Lewistown, standing in front of 225 Logan St. in Lewistown at 1:25 p.m. on Nov. 20, according to a release issued on Friday. Officers were aware that Crawley had two active warrants for summary non-traffic offenses, the report said, and took her into custody. During a search of her backpack incident to arrest, officers discovered illicit marijuana inside her bag, the report said, and Crawley was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Lewistown man arrested for warrants

LEWISTOWN – Very L. Woy III, 56, of Lewistown, was arrested for active warrants by Lewistown Police Department officers, who were patrolling Church Lane in Lewistown when they observed him attempting to walk away from them at 3:50 p.m. on Nov. 20, according to a release issued on Friday. Officers were aware that Woy had active warrants for his arrest relating to parole violations, the report said, and officers stopped Woy and took him into custody. During a search incident to arrest, Woy was found to be in possession of marijuana smoking paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana, the report said. Woy was lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown on his warrant and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana, the report said.
