Area man arrested by
police for active warrant
LEWISTOWN — Ryan R. Marks, 19, address not listed, was arrested by Lewistown Police Department officers for an active summary warrant with commitment at 4:07 p.m. on Nov. 7, according to a release issued on Friday. Officers observed Marks on North Juniata Street in Lewistown, the report said, and the officer made contact with Marks inside the Sheetz Store, where he was taken into custody and lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown.
Area man arrested, cited
for public drunkenness
LEWISTOWN — An 18-year-old area man was arrested, cited for public drunkenness and lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown after admitted to Lewistown Police Department officers that he had ingested methamphetamine, according to a release issued on Friday. Officers responded to West Market Street in Lewistown at 11:37 p.m. on Nov. 7 after receiving a report for a male who appeared to be impaired, the report said. Officers located Royce Jordan Vazquez, who showed signs of impairment, the report said.
Granville Township man
arrested for public drunkenness
LEWISTOWN — Shane A. Benner, 49, of Granville Township, was arrested for public drunkenness, and lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown after Lewistown Police Department officers found him to be under the influence of alcohol at Sheetz, located at 113 N. Juniata St. in Lewistown, according to a release issued on Friday. At 9:50 a.m. on Nov. 9, officers were dispatch to Sheetz for a male acting disorderly after being denied the sale of alcohol, the report said, and the individual was later identified as Benner.
Lewistown man charged with attempt
to disarm law enforcement officer
LEWISTOWN — Daniel Jay Feltch, 33, of Lewistown, was charged with attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest after an incident with Lewistown, Granville Township and Mifflin County Regional police departments at 8:55 p.m. on Nov. 9, according to a release issued on Friday. Officers responded to Valley Street in Lewistown for a domestic disturbance which was reported to possibly be physical in nature, the report said, and officers made contact with a male party involved, identified as Feltch who refused to let officers speak with a female involved. Officers attempted to detain Feltch to continue their investigation, but Feltch resisted, resulting in a struggle, during which Feltch attempted to grab an officer’s holstered firearm, the report said. Officers struggled to secure Feltch in handcuffs resulting in an altercation between officers and Feltch, the report said, and Lewistown officers received additional assistance from the Mifflin County Regional and Granville Township police department officers. Officers sustained minor lacerations to their hands and body due to the altercation and were treated by EMS on scene, the report said, and Feltch was lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown.
Area man charged with possession of controlled substance, drug paraphernalia
LEWISTOWN — Bradley Lee Rauch, 39, address unknown, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a Lewistown Police Department officer observed him walking on Pannebaker Avenue in Lewistown at 9:09 a.m. on Nov. 10. The officer was aware that Rauch had an active warrant for failing to respond to trespassing charges, the report said, and took him into custody. A subsequent search of Rauch revealed methamphetamine and a glass smoking device, the report said, and due to having no fixed address, Rauch was lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown on the warrant and charges were immediately filed.
McClure man arrested
for two active warrants
LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers arrested Charles Hampton, 40, of McClure, after finding him operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license during a routine traffic stop at 12:11 p.m. on Nov. 10, according to a release issued on Friday. Hampton was found to have two active warrants for his arrest, the report said, and he was taken into custody. A subsequent search of Hampton revealed marijuana, the report said, and charges are pending a return of a driver’s history record from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Lewistown woman arrested
for multiple active warrants
LEWISTOWN — Chyanne Nicole Gerringer, 29, of Lewistown, was observed by Lewistown Police Department officers walking on Church Lane in Lewistown at 4:18 p.m. on Nov. 10 when they arrested her for having multiple active warrants, according to a release issued on Friday. The officer knew Gerringer had multiple active warrants, the report said, and took her into custody and she was lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown.
