MIFFLINTOWN — State Police at Lewistown arrested a Mifflintown man in connection with a kidnapping in Juniata County. Tanner Brinton Nipple, 25, was taken into custody without incident Friday, Nov. 14.

The arrest stemmed from an incident on Sept. 16, 2025 in Walker Township. A nine-year-old Amish boy was forced into a vehicle near the victim’s farm at the intersection of Locust Run Road and Renno Lane. The victim was able to escape and return home.

Nipple was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Joshua Imes. Charges include kidnapping of a minor, false imprisonment of a minor and interference with the custody of children.
