MIFFLINTOWN — The Juniata County Veterans Council will host its annual Veterans Day/Queen Ball celebration at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 at the Laurelton, Laurelton Lane, Mifflintown. The guest speaker will be Ken Morrison, a U.S. Air Force veteran. The meal will be catered by Harshbarger’s Sub ‘N Malt with a buffet-style turkey meal. Tickets cost $15 each. Veterans, their spouses and ages under 12 eat for free.
