Man arrested for warrant at Kirk event

LEWISTOWN — Anthony Simonetti, 35, of Yeagertown, had a bench warrant and was arrested by undercover Lewistown Police Department officers at 8:16 p.m. on Oct. 8 at the Charlie Kirk Memorial held at Victory Park in Lewistown, according to a release issued on Friday. Simonetti had a bench warrant for failure to appear on a criminal trespass arrest, the report said, and uniformed officers stopped Simonetti at the boat launch. Simonetti provided a false identification providing his brother’s name, the report said, and Simonetti was arrested on the warrant but will not be charged for false identification to law enforcement.

Woman picked up on two arrest warrants

LEWISTOWN — While monitoring traffic on South Juniata Street, Lewistown Police Department officers stopped a truck for an inoperable brake light at 2:05 a.m. on Oct. 9, according to a release issued on Friday. The driver was known to officers and involved with several drug incidents, the report said, and the driver had a suspended license. A female in the vehicle refused to identify herself, the report said, and the driver provided officers with a false name for the passenger. Another officer recognized the passenger from a past incident and confirmed the woman was Danielle G. Colyer, 38, of Derry Township, the report said, and Colyer had two active arrest warrants relating to a probation violation for possession of controlled substances and a failure to pay bench warrant. The driver gave consent for officers to search the vehicle as Colyer left items in the vehicle, the report said, and officers located methamphetamine paraphernalia, methamphetamine and a digital scale. A wallet containing Colyer’s identification also contained a meth pipe and methamphetamine, the report said, and Colyer was held in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown on her warrants and additional charges for drug and drug paraphernalia possession were filed.

Lewistown woman lodged in jail for active warrants

LEWISTOWN — Kimberly R. Binner, 43, of Lewistown, was arrested for active warrants when Lewistown Police Department officers responded to a disturbance at 131 W. Fourth St., Lewistown, at 2:56 a.m. on Oct. 9, according to a release issued on Friday. Binner had four active warrants entered by other agencies, the report said, and at least one of the warrants from Dauphin County was confirmed to be valid and Binner was held in in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown.
