REEDSVILLE– An article that ran in Tuesday’s edition of The Sentinel incorrectly stated the name of the Brown Township supervisor who stepped down during Monday’s board meeting.

Mike Baker, the former supervisor, stepped down due to relocation. Baker was appointed in March following the passing of Supervisor Jim Peachey in February.

Mark Baker, who is running for Mifflin County School District’s Board of Directors, is the father of Mike Baker.

The board has 30 days to appoint a new Supervisor to fill the vacant seat until the election in November elects a new member to fill the seat in January.
