Calendar
The Sentinel offers nonprofit and other community organizations an opportunity to promote upcoming events for free in the community calendar for three days before the event. Events requiring reservations may be promoted for up to two weeks before the reservation deadline.
Events that require a purchase from a for-profit business, even if a donation is made to the organization, are not eligible for the calendar.

Veterans, active-duty military personnel and their family members who reside in the 85th Legislative District are invited for a free breakfast sandwich and information about resources for veterans. • Free sauerkraut workshop — 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 28, Body and Soul Community Center, Strodes Mills. Learn how to make healthy, fermented sauerkraut. • Mifflin County Chapter PASR luncheon meeting — noon, Thursday, Nov. 6, Birch Hill Event Center, Burnham. The annual Scholarship Bazaar will be featured.
