Police investigate found drugs
MIFFLINTOWN — Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown are investigating a report of personal items and drugs being found on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at around 7 a.m. along William Penn Highway, Fermanagh Township.
The report states that officers found multiple pieces of clothing as well as a prescription medication bottle. The owner of the items was located.
Man jailed on Megan’s Law violation
ALLENSVILLE — Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a complaint of an individual failing to comply with Megan’s Law on Wednesday, Sept. 17, around 8 a.m.
The report states that Charles Russell Travis Jr., 58, of Belleville, was taken into custody for two Megan’s Law violations that occurred between Sunday, Aug. 31, and Sept. 17.
Travis was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Kent Smith and is now being held at the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
Three facing criminal mischief charges
MIFFLIN — On Saturday, Sept. 27, three males were charged with criminal mischief after Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown received a report around midnight that a 1998 Chevrolet was vandalized at a residence on Apple Street, Milford Township.
The report states that Logan Fuhrman, 18, of Landisburg, and two youths — one of Loysville and the other of Mifflin.
