Impaired driver cited amid traffic violation

LEWISTOWN — On Sunday, Aug. 31, officers of Pennsylvania State Police at Lewiston conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Hyundai Tucson at around 1:45 p.m. for a traffic violation.

Once pulled over on the 300 block of West Freedom Avenue, officers determined the driver Katarina Warner, 32, of Lewistown, was impaired.

Warner was charged with driving under the influence of drugs through Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Reed.

Lewistown man cited with possession

LEWISTOWN — A Lewistown man was charged with drug possession after officers of Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown conducted a traffic stop on a 2012 Nissan Murano on Sunday, Aug 31.

According to the report, Roman Simmons was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and was charged through Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Reed.

Speeding driver cited with marijuana possession

McVEYTOWN — According to a report, Pennsylvania State Police observed a 2012 Honda Civic around 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 29, speeding on US Highway 522 South.

Once pulled over, officers found the driver, Rochele Briar, 30, of Mount Union, in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Briar was charged through Magisterial District Judge Kent Smith.
