August incident statistics released

LEWISTOWN — The Mifflin County Regional Police Department released the August statistics for arrests, during this time period there were 406 incident reports completed.

Of those reports, Regional Officers investigated 16 incidents of theft/fraud, two assaults and 26 motor vehicle accidents.

Regional Officers issued 48 traffic citations and 12 non-traffic citations. In addition, Regional Officers made nine arrests for driving while under the influence during this time frame.
