LEWISTOWN — The countdown to Goose Day is well underway! It actually started last weekend with the Annual Scavenger Hunt on Sunday.
This Friday’s Third Annual Lucky Friday serves as a kickoff to Goose Day weekend in the Juniata River Valley. Folks can flock to downtown Lewistown for festivities from 5 to 9 p.m. There will be live entertainment, food trucks, kids activities, vendors, local business specials and a beer, wine and spirits garden along Market Street.
It’s just one of the things to do this coming weekend:
Goose Day festivities
• “A Goosemas Story Photo Op,” 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Juniata River Valley Visitors Bureau, 1 W. Market St., Lewistown. Celebrate Goose Day a little early with the silly “Goosemas Story” Photo as the famous goose mascot will be all decked out as Ralphie in the unforgettable pink bunny suit from “A Christmas Story.” Strike a pose with the goose and fun props, including a “Fragile” crate and a one-of-a-kind goose-leg lamp. Don’t miss this quirky, festive photo opportunity that blends holiday nostalgia with Goose Day fun.
