Redneck bar cited by liquor enforcement

MIDDLEBURG — The Redneck Bar & Grill LLC, in Middleburg, was recently cited by Pennsylvania State Police and Liquor Enforcement Officers regarding two separate issues.
Within the dates of
April 1 — May 1, The Redneck Bar & Grill sold alcoholic beverages after the required health permit or license had expired on March 22. The Redneck Bar & Grill failed to renew or validate their permit/license.
The second issue occurred on March 6 and 7, when employees or customers of The Redneck Bar & Grill were smoking, or permitted smoking, in the area of which smoking is not permitted.
Following these citations, the charges will be represented to an Administrative Law Judge, who will have the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50-$1,000 for minor offenses, or up to 5,000 for serious offenses. Other possibilities include suspension or revocation of the license, or mandatory training for the licensee in an attempt to properly educate them on requirements of being a licensee.
