McVeytown man cited

for public drunkenness

MIFFLINTOWN — On Thursday, Aug. 21, Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a report of someone laying along the roadway of Licking Creek Road, Milford Township around 10:30 p.m.

Once on scene, officers located Joseph Leach, 42, of McVeytown, who was awoken by officers and taken to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for evaluation.

Leach was charged with public drunkenness through Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline Leister.

Police investigating assault of child

McCLURE — According to a report, Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown are investigating a report of assault from Tuesday, July 8. The report states that around 1:30 p.m. officers were notified of an assault on a 12 year old McClure boy.

Mifflintown man cited

with traffic violation

MIFFLINTOWN — Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado on Tuesday, July 29 around 1 p.m.

According to the report, police charged Jose Cosme, 51, of Mifflintown, through Magisterial District Judge Tracy Powell.
