No injuries in Highland Park house fire Friday

LEWISTOWN — Around 8:16 p.m. Friday, firefighters from Chief Logan Fire Co. were alerted for a house fire on the 500 block of Woodland Avenue in Highland Park.
Chief Logan Fire Chief Eric Moist said upon his arrival, there was smoke billowing from 504/506 Woodland Ave. and reports of persons unaccounted for.
Upon arrival, firefighters went into both sides of the building and began searching for the unaccounted-for occupants while attacking the fire.
Moist stated that the fire was under control rather quickly and that all occupants were later accounted for uninjured.
Moist stated the cause of the fire is under investigation by Mifflin County Regional Police. Firefighters from Chief Logan were assisted by Burnham Fire Co., Yeagertown Fire Co., City Hook & Ladder, Fame EMS, Milroy EMS, Mifflin County Regional Police, and local fire police.
