Mifflintown man arraigned for unlawful contact with minor

MIFFLINTOWN — A 25-year-old man was jailed when police found inappropriate photos and videos on his cell phone.
Daniel Felipe Rodriguez, of Mifflintown, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Tracy Powell Wednesday on one count of disseminating sex acts on the computer, one count of sexual abuse of children, one count of unlawful contact with a minor and one count of criminal use of communication facility, all felonies.
According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown were called to a residence on Rawhide Drive, Fermanagh Township where it was determined that Rodriguez engaged in a sexual relationship with a 16 year old. Police said Rodrigues had nude photographs of the teen on his personal cell phone, which was verified by police. Officers also found video of Rodriguez engaging in sexual intercourse with the minor.
Rodriguez is being held in Mifflin County Correctional Facility on $100,000 bail. He is awaiting a preliminary hearing set for 10 a.m. Aug. 20.
