MIFFLINTOWN — The victim of a fatal Walker Township crash on Friday has been identified.

Officials said Glenn Compton, 82, of Mifflintown, was pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown said Friday that officers responded to the eastbound lanes of US 322 east, about 1.5 miles east of the Thompsontown exit around 9:18 a.m.

Police said traffic was stopped in both lanes when a Ram 2500 struck a Lincoln MKZ, which then struck a Peterbilt truck.

Compton was the driver of the Lincoln, while a front-seat passenger, an unnamed 80-year-old Mifflintown woman, was flown to Hershey Medical Center to be treated for serious injuries.

The driver of the Ram, a 42-year-old Connecticut man, was flown vis medical helicopter to Geisinger Danville Medical Center for treatment.

Emergency responders said a portion of Route 322 was closed until just after 1:30 p.m.
