Burnham crash holds up traffic Tuesday

BURNHAM — At approximately noon on Tuesday, Aug. 26, first responders reported to a motor vehicle accident on South Logan Boulevard in Burnham.
According to an officer from Mifflin County Regional Police Department, a vehicle traveling southbound struck the passenger rear of a second vehicle that was turning right onto Cedar Street.
The driver who was struck declined EMS transportation claiming he was not injured, while the driver and passenger of the other vehicle were both transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for further assessment. Both cars suffered significant damage.
South Logan Boulevard was temporarily closed with a flagger directing traffic while the scene was cleaned up by Fire Companies from Reedsville, Fame EMS, and Mifflin County Regional Police.
South Logan Boulevard was reopened for traffic.
