REEDSVILLE — Emergency crews were called to Timber Road at about 2:30 a.m. Monday to respond to a structure fire at Metzler’s Forest Products.

Upon arrival, of Reedsville Deputy Chief Jeff Shelly reported heavy fire showing from the Kiln Building of this business, with possible extension into additional buildings and requested a commercial building fire dispatch.

After about three hours, firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control. Crews remained on scene until around 7:30 a.m.

Shelly said the cause of the fire is under investigation and has been turned over to the Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown’s Fire Marshal’s Office.
