Vehicle towed following crash
MIFFLIN — Twenty-year-old Rebekah Burkholder, of Honey Grove, was involved in a one-vehicle accident on Friday, Feb. 7.
The report states that Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to the scene on state Route 35 around 12:45 p.m. where it was determined that Burkholder may have fallen asleep while traveling southbound when she failed to negotiate a right hand curve and exited the roadway.
After doing so, the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander she was operating struck a utility pole.
Police said Burkholder was wearing a seatbelt. Officers suspected minor injuries, but Burkholder refused EMS transport. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Geedey’s Towing.
