Police: Alcohol a factor
in two-vehicle accident
BEAVER SPRINGS — Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and Mill Road in Monroe Township at 6:20 p.m. on August 24, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Wednesday. After troopers investigated the crash, they determined that one of the drivers was under the influence of alcohol, the report said. The crash involved an unidentified 47-year-old male from Beaver Springs and an unidentified 46-year-old female from Beaver Springs, the report said. No additional information was available.
Middleburg man escapes injury after hitting deer in Penn Township
MIDDLEBURG — A 46-year-old Middleburg man escaped injury after hitting a deer while driving on Old Colony Road in Penn Township, Snyder County, according to a Public Information Release Report issued by Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove on Wednesday. Gary M. McGuire was driving east in a 2018 Nissan Rogue when he struck the deer at 3:35 a.m. on Nov. 25, police said. He was not injured and was wearing a seat belt, police said.
Honey Grove woman arrested
for possessing alcohol as a minor
MIFFLIN – Jennifer Rayfield, 20, Honey Grove, was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown for possessing alcohol at 8:34 p.m. on Nov. 26, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Wednesday.
Mifflintown man reports
missing firearm to police
MIFFLINTOWN — Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown are investigating the disappearance of a lost firearm which was reported by an unidentified 35-year-old Mifflintown man at 7:39 p.m. on Nov. 25, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Wednesday. The firearm, a Stoeger Arms Importer, disappeared in the area of North Main Street, Mifflintown and was valued at $500, police said.
Dirt bike stolen from residence
in Decatur Township on Nov. 5
MCCLURE — An unidentified 39-year-old McClure man had a dirt bike removed from the backyard of his residence along Back Maitland Road in Decatur Township between 12 to 2 a.m. on Nov. 5, according to a Public Information Release Report issued by Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown on Wednesday. The dirt bike was a 2005 black, orange KTM Motor Fahrzeugbau or KTM North America, police said.
Lewistown woman arrested
after domestic incident
LEWISTOWN — An unidentified 23-year-old Lewistown woman was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown after troopers investigated and determined a physical altercation had occurred during a domestic incident at 1:15 p.m. on Nov. 10, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Wednesday. The victim was an unidentified 35-year-old man from Lewistown and the incident took place on Old Stage Road in Decatur Township, the report said. Police are continuing to investigate.
