Disorderly conduct charges filed

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department responded to the 200 block of North Grand Street around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 after Michael Woodring reportedly went to the location with the intention of fighting the resident who lived there.

According to the report, Woodring was cited for disorderly conduct for the disturbance he caused.

Man charged after breaking window

LEWISTOWN — Officers from the Lewistown Police Department responded to the 300 block of South Pine Road around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26.

According to the report when officers arrived Tyler Hess was engaged in violent behavior where police said he threw a punch that broke a window causing an injury and a disturbance. Hess was cited for disorderly conduct.

Gahagan faces drug charges

LEWISTOWN — On Tuesday, Oct. 17 around 7:30 p.m., officers from the Lewistown Police Department were notified that Christopher Gahagan Sr. was at a residence on the 200 block of Logan Street, where he was told on numerous occasions that he was not allowed.

The report states that while officers were investigating the trespass complaint, Gahagan was found in possession of a glass pipe and he admitted to officers it was used to smoke marijuana.

Woman arrested after holding man at gunpoint

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department was dispatched on Thursday, Oct. 26 around 11:30 p.m. to a residence on Feeder Avenue where a female was reportedly holding a male at gunpoint.

The report states that Angela Di Pietro was found to be pointing a firearm at a male that lives in the same residence after an argument. Officers reported that they removed a live round from the firearm that belonged to the male victim. Di Pietro was arrested on scene.

PFA violator arrested Sunday

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department responded to a protection from abuse order violation on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. on Lehigh Alley where they found Matthew Fink, of Lewistown.

According to the report, Fink also had an active warrant and resisted arrest when police attempted to take him into custody.

Fink was eventually arrested and transported to Mifflin County Correctional Facility and charged for indirect criminal contempt, simple assault and resisting arrest.

Man charged with open lewdness

LEWISTOWN — On Monday, Oct. 16 around 2 a.m. Lewistown Police Department were dispatched to the area of South Pine Road, where a man was reported for exposing himself.

Once on scene, officers located Lewis Rapp who was charged with open lewdness.

Man charged with DUI

REEDSVILLE — Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown conducted a traffic stop on a 2019 Harley Davidson on Sunday, Oct. 1 around 1:30 a.m. on Tea Creek Road.

Upon further investigation, troopers found that the operator of the vehicle, 30-year-old Gregory Goss of Milroy, was under the influence of alcohol.

Goss received charges through District Court.

Police to conduct sobriety checkpoint in Nov.

LEWISTOWN — Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown released a report stating that they will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Mifflin County in the month of November.

Man arrested on scene of crash

PORT ROYAL — On Monday, Oct. 23 around 6:40 p.m. officers from the Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a vehicle crash on Route 74 near the intersection with Laural Lane.

The report states that Charles Schaaf, 55 of Chambersburg was operating a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado when he drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

The Silverado sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Schaaf was arrested on scene for suspicion of driving under the influence.
