¯Reportable Vehicle Accident– On Jan. 18, at 7:14 p.m., officers from the Lewistown Borough Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of S Main and E Hale St for a reportable vehicle accident. Officers discovered that Damian M. Ritter, struck Jeremy M. Grose, while turning left from E Hale St. heading south on S Main St. Both vehicles had to be removed from the scene by Parsons Towing.
¯Warrent– On Jan. 22, at 3:59 p.m., Lewistown Police spotted Noah Koenig, 22, of Lewistown, walking on E. Water St. Koenig was known to have an active warrent out of Mifflin County. He was arrested and booked in on his warrent.

¯Crash– On Jan. 31, at 2:59 p.m., police responded to a crash on Route 35 S, Milford Township, for a one vehicle crash. A 2004 Mercury went off the right side of the roadway and recieved minor damage. No injuries occured and the vehicle was driven form the scene under its own power.
¯Reckless Endangerment– On Dec. 31, at 11:45 a.m., to Jan. 1, at 12:05 a.m., a disturbance was reported at Black Log Rd, Lack Township. After the investigation was complete, two individuals were charged through MDJ 41-3-02.
¯Cruelty to Animals– On Jan. 29, at 9:03 a.m., police were dispatched to Loop Rd, Wayne Township, for a complaint of animal cruelty. There was no animal cruelty observed after investigation was conducted.
¯Crash- DUI– On Jan. 16, at 5:48 p.m., a crash occurred on US 522 S. in Wayne Township, Mifflin County, near Fairview Rd. This crash occurred as William D. Kester, 79, of Belleville, was traveling towards McVeytown from Hotel Wayne in a 2015 Ford Escape. Dusty W. Sipes, 38, of Mt. Union, was traveling towards the Hotel Wayne from McVeytown in a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu. Kester traveled into the opposite travel lane as he approached Sipes. Sipes attempted to avoid collision by keeping to the right. Kester continued traveling into the opposite travel lane and side swiped Sipes. Kester then traveled off the left side of the roadway into a dtich. Sipes came to a controlled stop on the right side of the roadway. Kester sustained a minor head injury. Sipes reported no injuries. Both vehicles were towed off scene. Kester was found to be DUI.
¯Crash– On Feb. 1, at midnight, a hit and run crash occured on Terrace Blvd, Juniata Terrace Borough. A 2015 Chrysler 200, was legally parked on Terrace Blvd. A 2002 Ford F-150 XLT hit the Chrysler and fled the scene without providing information to the owner. The Chrysler sustained functional damage. The operator of the vehicle returned to the scene to exchange information with the vechile owner of the crash.
¯Crash– On Jan. 10, at 8:44 p.m., a crash occured on Route 75 S, in Spruce Township, near Crossing Rd. Douglas Spicher, 49, of East Waterford, was traveling towards the Spruce Hill Store. Spicher reported a deer in the roadway. Spicher attempted to avoid contact with the deer and lost control of the vehicle, a 2005 Ford Escape. The vehicle traveled across the opposite travel lane and hit an utility pole on the left side of the roadway. The vehicle then went down into a ditch on the left side of the roadway before coming to a stop. Spicher sustained an unknown injury. Spicher was found to be DUI.
¯DUI on View Alcohol– On Jan. 21, at 8:05 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a 2013 Chevrolet for multiple traffic violations. It was discovered that the operator of the vehicle was impaired. James Stemler, 59, of Liverpool, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol. Charges will be filed pending blood results.
¯Drug Possession– On Jan. 13, at 1:51 a.m., police recieved a report from W Market St, Lewistown Borough, at the Mifflin County Correctional Facility, for a drug possession in the jail. Charges are being filed through District Court 58-3-01.
¯Theft by Decept Credit/ATM Card– Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown is investigating a theft where the victims debit card was used on a fantasy sports website. No arrests have been made, the investigation continues.
¯Crash– On Jan. 26, at 9:33 a.m., a crash occurred on US 322 W, Fermanagh Township, in the vicinity of the boat launch. This crash occured as Vincent G. Guerin, 22, of Media, lost control of a 2005 Honda Civic, and traveled off the left side of the roadway and hit the contrete median/barrier before coming to a final stop beside the concrete median/barrier. No injuries reported.
¯Drug Possession– On Jan. 25, at 10:00 a.m., Ashley Sechrist, 31, of Mifflintown Borough, was taken into custody based upon active warrents. She was found to be in possession of a small of drug paraphernalia and controlled susbtances. Charges are being filed through District Court 41-3-01
¯Crash– On Jan. 27, at 8:04 a.m., a crash occurred as Curtis D. Gerig, 65, of Richfield, was traveling northbound on Route 35 N, just west of Little Evendale Rd, Monroe Township. As Gerig was negotiating a slight righthand curve in the roadway, the 2010 Jeep Patriot, traveled into the southbound lane. The vehicle exited the southbound lane and struck a utility pole. The vehicle continued across Little Evendale Rd and hit a ditch. The vehicle came to a stop in a field at this location. The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front of the vehicle. Gerig sustained minor injuries and will be cited.
¯Harrass Physical Contact– On Feb. 2, at 12:03 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute that occurred on Jefferson St, Mifflintown Borough. Upon arrival, both parties reported an argument ensuing that lead to unwanted physical touch by both parties. Both parties were cited for harassment. Charges were filed through District Court.
¯Crash– On Feb. 2, at 6:05 p.m., a crash occurred as a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling northbound on SR 35 S, Tuscarora Township. Road conditions were icy and slippery due to snow conditions at this location. Unit 1 could not maintain its path of travel due to the icy conditions. Unit 1 slid off the roadway through the opposing traffic lane and then hit a mobile home and mailbox. There are no injuries reported in the crash. Unit 1 sustained functional damage.
¯Assult Bodily Injury, No Weapon– Between the dates of Jan. 22, and Jan. 25, police recieved information regarding a possible child abuse incident on S Market St, McVeytown Borough. The incident remains under investigation.
