Saturday, Sept. 19 is the seventh annual Free Museum Day in Mifflin and Huntingdon counties. The day provides an opportunity to explore the history, heritage and unique museums of the area. Admission is free at participating locations, making this a great opportunity to discover some of the incredible places that help preserve our local history.

This will also be your final opportunity to view items from the Standing Stone Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution’s 1976 Time Capsule, currently on display in their Gallery Building.
