PCCA Juried Exhibition showcases local artists

NEWPORT -- Perry County Council of the Arts' 12th annual Juried Exhibition is on display at Landis House, 67 N. Fourth St., Newport, now through Nov. 20, 2026. A public reception and celebration will be held on Friday, Oct. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m., with awards announced at 7 p.m. Complimentary refreshments will be provided, including catered food. Local harpist Anna Santini will provide live music during the reception. All are welcome to join an evening of art and community.
Landis House is open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment. Call (717) 567-7023 or email pcca@perrycountyarts.org to schedule a visit outside regular hours.
PCCA's 12th Annual Juried Art Exhibition features 50 outstanding works across a variety of media, created by 44 regional artists and makers. This year's juror is Abria Donato, a mixed media sculpture artist, metalsmith, and Gallery Director at Carlisle Arts Learning Center in Carlisle. She earned a BFA with a concentration in jewelry metalsmithing and minors in art history and anthropology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2015. Since graduating she has focused on building her own, varied studio practices including fiber arts, printmaking, ceramics, and metal while building relationships in the local artist community through membership in the Yellow Breeches Chapter of the PA Guild of Craftsmen and finding work at The Art Center in Mechanicsburg and eventually Carlisle Arts Learning Center.
