SUBMISSION GUIDELINES -- The Sentinel welcomes submissions of original writing, art and photographs suitable for a family audience for publication on this page. Please submit items to: Jeff Fishbein, lifestyles editor, The Sentinel, P.O. Box 588, Lewistown, PA 17044; email: living@lewistownsentinel.com; or visit www.lewistownsentinel.com and select "Submit News." Handwritten submissions must be legible. All submissions are subject to editing at the discretion of The Sentinel. Digital photos should be 6-by-8-inches or larger at 200dpi when you send them in. Send us the photo as it comes out of your camera -- no editing of any kind. Make sure your email program is not changing the size. Some mail software -- especially in phones -- may make your picture smaller so it will send faster. Send photos at original (or full) size.
