LEWISTOWN -- The Mifflin County Historical Society has announced details for the Destination History 2023 trip. This year’s trip will visit Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine from Tuesday, September 12 to Sunday, September 17, 2023.
Stops on the trip will include Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Experience, Trapp Family Lodge, Lake Champlain Chocolates/Cabot Cheese/Smuggler’s Distillery, Lake Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad, Kennebunkport, Lighthouse Lovers Cruise, Downeast Maine Lobster Bake, tour of Portland, Portland Head Light, Old Port, shopping at Freeport and L.L. Bean.
