Stitt of Laurel Brook Gardens, Belleville, won silver honors this week at the Philadelphia Flower Show. The show's theme, The Garden Electric, was brought to life with Joe's interpretation of the ruins of a man's once grand garden that intrigues your imagination. The silver medal and pitcher were awarded by The Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania for 'unusual excellence in the category of conservation.' The silver trophy was an award from Kate and Robert Bartlett for the best use of trees in a display. The flower show continues through March 12 at the Philadelphia Convention Center.
