Joyce “JJ” Jane Steffen, 82, of Port Royal, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sept. 5, 2024. She is survived by her three children, Doug (Rona) Diffenderfer of Newport, Shelly (Jeff) Haines of Port Royal, and Christopher Diffenderfer of Port Royal. A step-son John (Jamie) Steffen of Newport, a step-daughter Stacey (Brandy) Steffen of Gettysburg. Joy Ann Noerr, 70, of Lewistown, passed away at 8:20 p.m., Monday, Sept. 2, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born May 14, 1954, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Laura Ritchey and George Walters. Joy is survived by her children. She was a 1972 graduate of Penn Highlands High School, Lewistown Campus. Joy was a homemaker and enjoyed volunteering in the community and spending time with friends.
