Hello from the kitchen and Happy end of February! Since it’s getting closer to spring, I thought I’d end the month with a big comfort meal. I roasted a chicken. 1975 marks Grand opening of new MCL

In last week’s article, there were high hopes to have the Mifflin County Library moved into the new building at 123 North Wayne Street, Lewistown by August 1974. Well, with one thing and another, the new building didn’t open until March 9, 1975. Or I should say, the Grand Opening ceremony wasn’t held until March 9. It is true what they say, “You can’t always tell the value of something by the package it comes in.” That is true of preachers and it is certainly true of the rest of us who are witnesses to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
