Medical center recognized for bone marrow transplant program

HERSHEY — Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center has been ranked among the top eight blood and marrow transplant programs in the nation for patient outcomes, according to a new report. The ranking, based on the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research Final 2025 Transplant Center-Specific Survival Report, evaluated 176 programs nationwide. Allegheny County jail runs on overtime, driving up pay

Last year, 107 guards at Pittsburgh's main jail earned at least half their pay from overtime, according to county records. As recently as 2016, only 28 did so. HARRISBURG — Gov. Josh Shapiro on Tuesday joined a multistate lawsuit challenging an executive order issued by Donald Trump that seeks to change how elections are administered.
