Identity of man in old photo is revealed

One of the things I enjoy most about my job as special projects editor at The Sentinel is the interaction with readers who submit items to be used in our many special sections. Free tax program is available for seniors

LEWISTOWN — Mifflin-Juniata Regional Services Corp.’s annual tax assistance program is now taking appointments. A team of experienced volunteers are ready to assist local clients by preparing state and federal income tax forms for those who meet the age requirement or who are disabled. The program is available for qualifying senior citizens who are 60 years and older. Appointments begin on Feb. 6 and will be available every Tuesday and Friday until the end of tax season in April, with time slots ranging from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tax clients meet with volunteers at their office ...
