Route 522 bridge work to begin Monday in Lewistown
LEWISTOWN — Motorists traveling Route 522 in Lewistown Borough should prepare for traffic delays beginning Monday as crews begin work on a bridge spanning Kishacoquillas Creek. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced that work to restore the bridge approaches will begin Oct. 26, with construction expected to last approximately two weeks. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone 24 hours a day, seven days a week, throughout the project.
