Police: Stolen merchandise donated to organizations over course of 2 year period
MIFFLINTOWN — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a theft incident that occurred over a two year period at a Dollar General store in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County.
According to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown, various items of merchandise including food, clothing and cash were stolen from the Mifflintown Dollar General store between Sept. 3, 2017, and Sept. 3, 2019. The stolen merchandise, totaling over $16,000, was then reportedly donated to various local organizations.
A suspect has been reported in the case, but a name has not been released. Charges have not yet been filed as the investigation is ongoing.
