One killed after Thursday crash

MILROY -- One fatality was reported following a vehicle crash that occurred just before 9 a.m. Thursday morning on U.S. 322 East, Armagh Township, near the runaway truck ramp.
According to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown, troopers received a call from a witness at 8:56 a.m. Thursday morning regarding a single vehicle crash.
Upon troopers' arrival at the scene, 33-year-old Amal alis Al Shaebah, of Newark, Del., was reported deceased. According to the Mifflin County Coroner's Office, Al Shaebah lost control of her vehicle as she was coming down the Seven Mountains and died as a result of blunt force trauma.
Al Shaebah, a native of Saudi Arabia, was reportedly in the United States on a student visa and was currently attending the University of Delaware.
According to the report, the vehicle involved in the crash had a New York license plate. Al Shaebah was the only person reported in the vehicle.
Reedsville Fire Co., the Mifflin County Coroner's Office, Milroy Fire Co., the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Milroy EMS assisted state police on scene.
