Trout season begins today

HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission reminds anglers that the statewide Opening Day of Trout Season is today. Anglers may begin fishing at 8 a.m.​​ Throughout the 2025 season, the fish and boat commission will stock approximately 3.2 million adult trout in 691 streams and 130 lakes open to public angling. From staff reports HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry (L&I) announced Friday that its Bureau of Labor Law Compliance has secured judgments totaling $74,249.66 against Rick Long and his company, Warm Hearts Home Care Agency Inc., following an investigation that found that 24 workers were denied full wages. Dear Annie: I have two sons. My older one was always a source of difficulty growing up. He loved to read encyclopedias and science-related books. This led him to correct his teachers at times.
