Greetings everyone. Those showers we were having over the last week brightened everything up. Soon the leaves will start turning and the temperatures will be falling; then the trees will be bare again. It’s so nice to watch nature change from one season to another.
The fall sports season will begin soon. Many of my family members are big football fans, so that will make them happy for a while.
The children are enjoying one last swim at the area pool before school begins. It just seems like yesterday I was watching my grandson graduate; now it’s almost time to start another year. I remember going back to school was the only time of year I was allowed to get new clothes for the reason. Then, after going barefoot all summer, we had to get used to towering shoes again, which wasn’t fun at all. But we managed to get through it somehow.
Cash Bingo is back on Sunday, August 30th, 2026. Make plans to join us at the Granville Fire Company Events Center for an afternoon of cash bingo. Doors open at 1 p.m. Bingo starts at 3 p.m. There is no need to purchase tickets; just come out and enjoy an afternoon, and small games of chance will be available.

Loving memories to the family of Steven Harshbarger, who passed away four years ago on August 19th, 2022. Thoughts are with the family at this time.
