Families in Recovery to hold additional weekly support meeting in Middleburg
MIDDLEBURG — The Susquehanna Valley Mediation’s Families in Recovery program is adding a second location for weekly support group meetings in Snyder County. The program, supported with funding from Snyder and Union counties, is open to anyone in recovery from addiction and their family members.
Beginning Thursday, weekly meetings will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Walking Free Clubhouse, 8183 Route 522, Middleburg.
Meetings will also continue every Monday at 6:30 p.m. at 18 Market St., Lewisburg. Free childcare is available for children up to age 12.
Mifflin County Planning Department seeking feedback with surveys
LEWISTOWN — The Mifflin County Planning Department is attempting to update the county comprehensive plan and needs your help. The survey covers housing, transportation, future land use, economic development and more. Public input is an essential component for developing a comprehensive plan.
