It's time to enter The Sentinel's "Show Us Your Deer" contest. Photo entry deadline is today.
Hunters no longer need to bring their deer to The Sentinel to enter our contest. The "Show Us Your Deer" contest does not have a measurement requirement nor do we require hunters to bring their kill to us.
Hunters can simply upload a photo of either a harvested buck or doe to our website with a brief description. All entries submitted will be eligible for a drawing for some great prizes, including a $150 gift certificate from Dan Pierce Outdoor Shop in Lewistown.
Photos should be of a deer taken in the 2022 fall season. All approved photos will be viewable on our online gallery and selected photos will be published in our "Show Us Your Deer" special edition on Dec. 16.
To access the online upload page, look for the button at lewistownsentinel.com or go to https://lewistownsentinel.com/deer to submit a photo or view the photo gallery. Those who may not have access to a computer or smartphone to upload a photo may call The Sentinel weekdays at (717) 248-6741 to be sure someone is available to take a photo at The Sentinel building in Pleasant Acres.
