UNIVERSITY PARK – Playing its sixth nationally-ranked opponent in the first eight matches of the season, No. 13 Penn State women’s volleyball fell 3-1 (25-23, 25-17, 23-25, 25-17) to No. 5 Pitt in a non-conference match Wednesday night at Rec Hall. The Nittany Lions dropped to 4-4 overall, while the Panthers improved to 8-2 with their eighth-straight win. A pair of Penn State players recorded double-digit kills. GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Penn State women’s tennis team opened the 2025 fall season at the Debbie Southern Fall Classic over the weekend. Brianna Baldi had a standout weekend in her first appearance as a Nittany Lion, going undefeated in singles and winning two-of-three doubles matches. UNIVERSITY PARK – The Penn State Nittany Lion field hockey team (4-1, 0-0 B1G) dominated visiting Kent State (1-4) in non-conference field hockey action Sunday, wrapping up a string of four straight home games.
