Six Nittany Lion wrestlers win titles at Southern Scuffle, Kauffman Open

Thirteen members of the Penn State Nittany Lion wrestling team took part in the 2026 Southern Scuffle at Chattanooga on Saturday and Sunday, and three others competed at the Bobby Kauffman Open at Edinboro on Sunday. Lions tap Lynn as new defensive coordinator

UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State Football announced the addition of D’Anton Lynn [DAN-ton] to its staff as the Nittany Lions’ defensive coordinator. Lynn makes his return to Happy Valley, lettering with the football team from 2008 to 2011. Lynn comes to Penn State following a two-year stint as the defensive coordinator for USC.
