BOSTON – Atlantic Hockey America named Penn State women’s ice hockey skaters Kendall Butze and Mikah Keller for weekly awards, as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon. Kendall Butze was named the AHA’s Defenseman of the Week after leading all Penn State skaters in points with five on two goals and three assists. The senior was also second among all skaters in one ice rating at +5. ROSEMONT, Ill. – Freshman Gavin McKenna (Whitehorse, Yukon) and junior Dane Dowiak (Pittsburgh, Pa.) were named the B1G First and Second Star of the Week, respectively, for their performances during a weekend sweep over then-No. 5 Wisconsin as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.
