Lions swimming and diving heads to Big Ten Championships

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – The Penn State Women’s Swimming and Diving team is set to travel to Minneapolis to compete for a Big Ten title at the 2026 Women’s Big Ten Championships. The meet will take place over four days from Feb. 18-21 at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center. The women are coming off a successful regular season, where they picked up three dul wins and recently won their last two meets after claiming victories against West Virginia (157-140) and George Washington (180-97). GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The Penn State baseball team dropped a 15-3 decision to Air Force at Goodyear Ballpark on Friday in its season opener at the Desert Invitational. Colin Fitzgerald earned the start for the Nittany Lions, tossing 3.1 innings. He allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits. Fitzgerald recorded four strikeouts and three walks. EUGENE, Ore. – The Penn State men’s basketball team suffered an 83-72 road loss at Oregon Saturday afternoon inside Matthew Knight Arena.
