USA moves to 7-1 overall in volleyball action

UNIVERSITY PARK – Former Penn State All-Americans Simone Lee-Wank and Micha Hancock were again on the travel roster for the United States team during the second week of the Volleyball Nations League. The pair helped the team go 4-0 in its matches in Pasig City, Philippines as USA improved to 7-1 overall. Foley, Powell head to U21 Pan Am Cup

UNIVERSITY PARK – Two incoming freshmen on the Penn State men’s volleyball team are set to compete in the upcoming 2026 Men’s U21 Pan American Cup in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Middle blocker Isiah Powell and libero Drake Foley will represent USA at the event, while another incoming freshman, middle blocker Luc Soerensen, will serve as an alternate. Carey hauls in USA U20 javelin crown

EUGENE, Ore. – Rising sophomore Nolan Carey of the Penn State track and field team earned a spot on Team USA for the World Under-20 Championships after winning the USA U20 javelin title Thursday afternoon at Hayward Field. Carey claimed the national title with a throw of 66.38m. Carey recorded the mark on his second attempt in the preliminary round, and it remained unbeaten through the final. UNIVERSITY PARK === Six members of the Penn State Nittany Lion Olympic Regional Training Center/Nittany Lion Wrestling Club competed at 2026’s Final X at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
