Spikes-Cutters game nixed due to weather

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Thursday night’s scheduled game between the State College Spikes and Williamsport Crosscutters at Journey Bank Ballpark was canceled due to inclement weather in the Williamsport area. The game will not be made up. Spikes name Petrazzolo their general manager

The State College Spikes announced the promotion of Dan Petrazzolo to General Manager and the hiring of Jonathan Runkle as Director of Sales, effective immediately. Petrazzolo has been the Spikes’ Assistant General Manager since 2015 and the operations head at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park since Feburary of 2007. A native of New Jersey, Dan worked as Director of Operations with the Atlantic City Surf in the then-independent Atlantic League before joining the Spikes.
